Job Description

The Marketing Department of Arnold & Porter has an opening for a Marketing Technology Specialist.  This Marketing Technology Specialist may be located in either the New York or Washington, DC office. The Marketing Technology Specialist will serve in a dynamic role assisting with firm-wide e-marketing communications and business development initiatives with a lead focus on CRM database maintenance and other marketing technology projects. The Specialist will work closely with the Manager of Marketing Technologies.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Specializing in event e-marketing campaigns and list creations which includes complex searches to meet event-audience criteria, working closely with events team for campaign testing, and providing post event analytic reports.
  • Assisting with CRM training arrangements for attorneys and ARC Support; serving as primary trainer for the ARC Support. 
  • Attending regular vendor meetings to discuss inquiries, enhancements, and participate in demos.
  • Supporting other departments with creation of e-marketing campaigns.
  • Producing relationship and engagement activity reports.
  • Researching and processing CRM data tickets as assigned and assisting with data quality initiatives.
  • Working with IT professionals to resolve technical issues that may arise.
  • Suggesting ways to improve list quality and highlighting opportunities to segment lists.
  • Assisting with the onboarding process of new employees.
  • Monitoring the team inbox and resolving and/or routing requests.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.  
  • Minimum of three years of CRM experience, preferably with LexisNexis InterAction.
  • Skilled in e-marketing platform, preferably with Vuture. 
  • Proficient in Data Quality Management concepts.
  • Previous training experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency with CRM Software platform required, preferably with LexisNexis InterAction. 
  • Knowledge of e-marketing platforms.
  • Ability to explain concepts and procedures in a clear, easy-to-understand manner.
  • Strong research skills.
  • Ability to manipulate data in common formats such as Excel and .CSV files.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Exceptionally detail-oriented.
  • Strong written and oral communication, analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities within tight time constraints.
  • Ability to complete daily tasks while working on long term projects.
  • Ability to define goals and follow through to achieve results.
  • Ability to work effectively independently and in a team.
  • Ability to handle a number of responsibilities simultaneously, to field conflicting priorities, to manage and meet multiple deadlines with minimal supervision, and to be a self-starter.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours, as necessary.
